Formed in 2006 in an independent record store, the story begins with Ewan Rigg bringing in a short story, to which Ian Moody and he came up with the title “Blood & Straw” Tom Stavely after reading it said “We have to film this”. Time passed until they talked with close friend Mark Fox, Fox had experience in film making and music videos.
Within days they found themselves on location near Hylands Chelmsford shooting a “would be” classic scene for Blood & Straw, featuring the infamous Scarecrow and Ronald McClusky.
Blood & Straw took shape and was released independently in 2006.
The following year they started work on Vampire Hunter Werbals (this time penned by Stavely) although it would not be released for many years later.
Over the years the 4 film makers would film well over 20 films a lot of which clocked in under 20 mins. The Blood & Straw saga continues to this day.
In 2011 Twit Twoo Films released Blood & Straw “CrossRoads” by far the most commercial and successful film to date, drawing huge viewing figures “CrossRoads” allowed Twit Twoo Films to make a few more artistic projects.
More to come soon……………
